Aon Benfield’s inaugural Bermuda Analytics Day was held on March 24. The day provided attendees with an introduction to Aon Benfield’s cutting edge analytical tools and solutions, interactive discussions and an overview of the company’s enhanced global offerings.

Highlights from the event:

• An overview of Cat Management Analytics providing an outline of this expanding area of expertise. 
• An introduction to Impact Forecasting, an area which aims to develop information where it’s not currently available or to expand where current information is not in-depth enough
• An overview of the Insurance Risk Study publication which has been issued by Aon Benfield over the past 4 years. The next edition of Insurance Risk Study will be issued in the third quarter of this year
• An introduction to Aon Benfield’s enhanced Market Security Services which is expanding to incorporate a team dedicated to the US and Bermudian markets. The presentation highlighted capabilities of the team and provided a mini demonstration of MarketReView™ planned for launch on 19 April 
• The Rating Agency Update provided an introduction to property and casualty reinsurance solutions as well as a focus on rating agency hot topics and trends 
• Trends in Capital Management were addressed with an overview of the extension of the ReMetrica™ tool to address new legislation around the EU directive on Solvency II. An additional focus on development of a customized in-house IT platform which allows clients with more complex requirements to move away from multiple stand alone solutions, towards a more centralized solution.
